so i finaly got this done, and no, its not HID, and dont give me $hit for it either, but they are H3 projectors, the dims are out of a celica i think, nicer cut-off than my roomies 330ci, the brights are just projector fog light housings off ebay for dirt cheap-these are only for when my girl drives and flicks the brights-so it wont go pitch black.. if your asking y only one filiment, is because i got them for $15 shipped off ebay... so, the lenses are gts clear covers caulked onto the factory housing.. this is where it gets sucky, had to get creative to adhere the rubber surround back on.. , anyways, i painted the inside black so it would match the car color...

in comparison to standard lights, how do these match up on actual road use? They seem okay on your garage door, but whats the story on the driving side?.. Nice idea, I like them

i can see fine, the only bad part is taking sharp corners... but 90% of driving is perfect... no differnt than any celica as i remember from riding w/ my sis in hers....

and this is the kind of project you only do once, i have to wait till my hair grows back in order to do this again... it was a PITA! not recomended.. and im not all that happy w/ the outcome, i love the projector part, its the sealing/rubber trim piece that is kickin my ass...

Oh man i hear you there, im glad you know what us retrofitters went thru. People think its such an easy task to cut your headlights apart and put projectors in them. I think putting a supercharger on a car is actually easier than a headlight mod.

I think you have a good idea there and it looks good, id definately like to see a more up close shot of the headlight in daylight too.

So you can make clear 99+ GA headlights then....use the stock housing and use headlight covers as the lens, get rid of the orange reflector, right???

some company needs to manufacturer that. More proffesional of course but, it would be a good idea. Lots of money sitting there. Not one damn headlight mod for grand ams.

Sure, there are as many headlight mods available as you are willing to do yourself.

there are as many mod period for your car as you want. As long as you are willing to do it. Get a freakin card board body kit if you want. i'm just pullin your leg. I would just like it to be proffesional though, not bashing his work or anything.
