Try this ... Seat Cushion Replacement - Rear (http://www.accesswave.ca/~kbruce/manuals/Seat_Cushion_Replacement_Rear.pdf) ... and this ... Seat Cushion Replacement - Rear (http://www.accesswave.ca/~kbruce/manuals/Seat_Back_Replacement_Rear.pdf) ... hoped this helped :)

I thought you didn't have to take out the seats for 99+ model ga's? Or does it vary from car to car?

To simply get the rear speakers out, you don't ... but, I assumed he was needing the seats out for another part of the install :)

how do you take the speakers out without taking out the seats?

i will need to take them out anyway so i can run some wires, but i would still like to know how to take the rear speakers out without takin the seats out.

Hmm... on a 96 you DO have to remove the seat to replace the 6x9s right? I can see them from the trunk but it looks like the screws come in from the other side...

... and ...

Cool ... I honestly thought you removed the 6x9s from within the trunk as every GM that I have worked on (with the exception of this one I guess) has had them accessable from the trunk ... sorry :)

actually you can just pop the cover of of the 6x9 and there is a clip holding the 6x9 mount to the car just pop that out and pull out the screws on the 6x9 and your done. at least thats how it was for my 99 se
