i got these from a Lumina yesterday.. i know they don't do much of anything, but they look nice eh?

just one little issue with the hood prop..

but all that matters is that the hood closes, right?

still need to cut the plastic back a little bit and replace a bolt once i get the propper nut... the strut tower brace BTW is from a cavalier, and don't bother telling me to replace the corrugated rubber on the intake with pipe unless you plan on sending me a piece.. :P -- i already know that.

the best part? they were free (sort of)! i drove my brother to a yard where i had earlier spied some pieces he needed for his jetta, so he picked them up for me in return. what a swell guy.

Those bars might just help a little in a front end collision.

They can't hurt . Maybe reinforce the strut towers some , stop them flexing .

I wonder if they help the ride out any on our GAs? They come on the GP GTPs i know. They gotta be there for something.

You can find them pretty cheap at most junkyards. That would make for a great suspesion upgrade if it works.

Anything you can do to strengthen the strut towers and keep them from flexing will improve handling . Get a strut tower brace , both front and rear . ;)

Did they help reduce body roll any on your ride? Im ordering a front and rear strut tower bar and wonder if this wouldnt help alittle bit too.

Strut tower braces will not reduce body roll. You need larger sway bars to accomplish that.

... Or a cheaper way to reduce bodyroll is to simply replace your existing swaybar bushings w/ urethane. Sure, the bigger bars = urethane would be better but it's alot more expensive too. Besides, changeing out the front bar could make even a preahcer cuss.
