Auto Trans and Shifting

Last year my cars transmission went out and i had it rebuilt. It has a 1 yr warranty that ends this month. Any way my car shifts from 1st to 2nd extremly rough. The car jerks, do other cars have this problem? I checked the fluid and it seems to be full. I plan on taking it to the shop monday and have them look at it, since it is under warranty they will have to fix, I hope they and don't give some excuse. thanks

There's nothing 'normal' about jerky shifts in a modern automatic tranny.

Yeah, take it in and tell them the symptoms.
They should be happy to look at, and correct, a minor problem before it becomes major and expensive.

It may be as simple as an external adjustment; could be as complex as changing the fluid and filter, maybe even working on the valve body.
