Pics of my tails with the LED on.
*NOTE* the sun was VERY bright today, so the lights look much dimmer than they actually are due to the setting I had to use on my camera to make the pics come out well enough to see the lights themselves.

here's a pic of the tail lights with the LED's off so you can see the metal-cast painted 'reflector'

you can tell im not done yet. I had to call it a day due to its getting dark.
Notice the black accent on the right side....and how it's still white on the left side..lol
I'll take more when I get the overspray cleaned up, and then I'll take some of my angel eyes.

Hit that page then scroll to the bottom under "CAR VIDEOS"
It's the only way I could think of to let everyone hear my Borlas.

The car looks great. You should take a picture at night to let us see what the LEDs in the back look like.

This is a pic of the LED tails at night. The brakes are NOT on.

Note: All the lights that you see are LED's. The sidemarkers are the 4-LED hyper-bright ambers and the parking/blinkers are the 18-LED hyper-brights from superbrightleds.com

if someone requests it, I can take a short video of the LED's in action with the blinker on. BOTH bulbs flash on one side, while the other will remain dim.
With the brakes on, one side blinks while the other side goes bright.

it's raining pretty hard outside tonight...so the vid of the LED tails in action will have to wait one more day....but I promise I'll take some for those interested in seeing them working before deciding to get them.

Unfortunately, the car has been giving me more and more trouble lately, so the wife and I have been considering getting rid of her.
New problems:
Coolant leak (4th time this year...this time its the heater core)
Interior water leake has reappeared
Fuel gauge gives wildly innaccurate readings
Just had to have the combination switch replaced for the second time at a total cost of $235.
I'm starting to have to sink more and more money into the car to keep it in shape...and i'm from the school of thought that says when you have to start spending $400-$500 a month to keep a car running, its time to get rid of the car.
