Well i'm talkin to Brian ant Exploited Racing about the Ecotec Supercharger for the 2002-2004 Cavalier/Sunfire 2.2L Ecotec ... This is the Conversation through email::

I'm very intrested in this turbo.... I have a 2002 Grand am SE
with the 2.2l ecotec in it.... I was wondering if any research has been done to see if this will fit? or if any can be done?

i belive it will fit. Only problem that might occur is the downpipe.

how big of a problem?

from what ive heard it hits the engine mount in the rear.. im not so sure of this problem with ecotecs... ive heard of it with the 2.4L... all youd really need to do is take it to an exhaust shop and have them customize it to work, other than that it will bolt right up.
How much would it cost to get a place to get and exhaust shop to customize the down pipe?
