It's been about 4 years since I have been able to drive around not caring about road hazards. Big Ass Pirelli Scorpions and a ton of ground clearance and fender gap. Gotta love it. LOL

lil...i told ya that's my fav color on GAs....i love it!!!! i would paint mine that color if it wasn't green....well i'd do a fade from front to back...greystone metallic fading into my polo green metallic......now where do i get the $$$ for something like that...lol...sorry about your rims man...thats some jacked up stuff....who the hell would steal some stock rims.....weird. the new ones look cool though......shoulda went for 17 or 18s though :-)

Well I'll be bringing the Porsche assuming I can get it started. It's back from the shop after getting the timing set on it but now it turns over and just dies. And the radiator is leaking a bit. I have a mechanic friend coming by tonight and maybe we can get the b*tch running.

And I think that little Porsche could beat you but I really can't say right now, I have never driven it before. We'll see. Maybe I'll bring both. :)

Alright I got a hold of them a couple days ago and WhoopHondaAss is going to have to setup the airfield for us, since his grandfather is a member there... They won't do it for non-members... or at least the guy I talked to wouldn't... I will try to call again this week and try talking to someone else there... but it looks like my car won't be able to make it there, just depends on how fast the dealers can find and fix the problem with my engine. I will tell you how the airfield goes on monday or tuesday.

and NO i haven't gotten my car back.......grrrrrrrrrrr........two months yesterday and still no car. there is a problem with the clearance of the magneto pickups on the crank.....the ones that make spark...if they take the sensor out of the car and run a magnet by it....it sparks...but in the car...no spark. they are thinking it's a bad block/crank so who knows what's gonna happen.

i'm getting sick of driving the fluffy version of my car (96 skylark)....beautiful and great driving car.....but it's not my grand am ya know?

Well......since last friday it's been at folsom chevy......we'll see what they come up with.....the electric shop came to a stuck point and wasnt' getting anywhere. They were stumped......so it's in the dealers hands now.

Your kidding me. Your car has been in the shop now for over 3 months now? What is up with that? This costing you a fortune now? That place on Sunrise is now on my places not to go. They better be footing the bill on the defective engine they installed for you.

I wish I were kidding......Everything is getting paid for.......with the exception of the engine and 650 labor, which was my original estimate. Don't doubt California Rewire's (the electric shop) skills.....they were on the phone with me everyday telling me the different things they were trying. I've seen engine swaps and computer reprograms come out of there perfectly. I'm more mad at BOP (the ones that did the swap).....they ffffff'd it up. Not rewire.

As I was typing this Folsom Chevy called.......they are almost certain the reluctor on the crankshaft is incorrect or was installed incorrectly. Meaning that the engine will have to be replaced....again!!!!! I'll update more as I know what's up

Planneded mods, Nice body kit, I was looking at the kit @ Andy's but I'm still looking around, i'm not too sure about the side skirts on it, I want 18 " 5 spokes w/ low profiles... no particular combo choosen yet, I'm tinting the windows, I'm going to throw a system into it, I want to do some performance things to it, but I'm really new to this so I really do not know what i can do to this car and what is really not worth it, so far I gather, intake kit, possible exhauste and I want a new suspention package w/ stabilizer bars, though I'm not too keen about cuttin into the walls of my trunk, unless I design a speakerbox with which i can hide the caused damage... all this is going to be installed over the next couple years... I think I'm doing the body kit first, so I know what to work with on the suspention... and no I don't know the first thing about it... yet... I'm having my friend @ his shop do all the work and I intend to help him and learn...

If anyone has ideas, tips, tricks, parts they are not using anymore especially taillights (non - stock) make me an offer, I might be interested in buying things.... :)...
