questions about rims

ok, i want to get low profile tires and some rims, but my dad says that since we live in nh, there alot of cracks, frost heaves, pot holes, and what not, so i will have alot of dings and stuff in my rims, do you think that is true for the most part? cuz i reallly wanna get rims and snaz up my car

it's always a possiblility on bad roads.. also.. w/ potholes.. if you get too low profile of rims you might bend em in a big hole...

Everyone has to deal with the possibility of bending or knicking wheels. If you want to get some chrome don't let that stop you.

oh ight, um will it effect the wheels more if i get it lowerd too?

Not so much lowered but pot holes are a &^%$. My roads suck bad. I did not go with 18's I went with 17's just to give me a little more rubber on the road. You will find yourself slowing down a bit more for those bad roads.
