Well, it's a long way away. From Minneapolis to Chicago is about 6 1/2 hour drive, to give you an idea. From Des Moines to Chicago, I'd guess about 5 1/2 hours. I don't know how far you live from Chicago, but you get the idea.

All we need really is to get someone to make a site. Get sponsors and the other work. And to have meets every year. I would definately be up to joining if this were to become a reality. Though its been a long time since Midas first suggested it.
