i was looking around today on mantapart and i saw that "free flow intake" that they make. is that thing a joke? im only assuming, becuase it doesnt say so, that it isnt a CAI, so why is it 175 bucks? is that right?

well im not in the market for an intake, i was just wondering about it. i know that manta is really overpriced, but damn, thats alot of money for something you can build yourself. youde think theyd sell it for cheaper because of that

The only way I'd go with any air intake is custom. Every kit I've ever seen is overpriced. You can buy some PVC tubing, an air filter, and build one much cheaper. Heck, with some paint you can even make it look good! ;)
