Our newest Modifications!!

As most of you already know, Shawn and I have been involved with the Grand Am Owners Club (GAOC) for quite some time, plus, the up coming G6 Owners Club (G6OC) and are not in the habit of accepting 'perks' or 'donations' for developing these sites. With this said, we were recently overwhelmingly surprised at a shipment we each received from Jace, N-body/Epsilon Marketing Manager for GM, as organized by Adam, 30thAnnGAGT.

In this regard, it is with great pleasure Shawn and I announce our newest car modifications ... GM SC/T hoods!!

Now, under most circumstances, Shawn and I would typically consider the interests of the site before our own; however in this case, we simply could not refuse. Officially, Shawn and I would like to express our sincerest gratitude to both Jace and Adam for their gift and hope the GAOC and the G6OC will continue to provide you both with enjoyable places in which to spend time.

BTW Shawn, what is on your lower grill to the drivers side?

If my truck comes out good this spring I think the wifes GA will get a make over shortly after.

To to clairfy things from "the other side" if you will.

Kelly and Shawn had no idea these were coming. The ONLY reason the knew ANYTHING in advance was that I needed names and contact numbers for dealerships near them. Even then I didn't let on right away what was going on. I would have liked to see their faces when they found out though. I'm sure it was priceless :)


Kelly and Shawn do more for this site and for you guys than 99% of you know about, if they chose to tell you, then that's their business. However, having run a club in the past, and done things to help run 3 sites at a time I know what their work load can be like. Running this site IS a full time job. There have been times when Shawn and Kelly I'm sure would like to take a break, but they don't. They do it for you.

They also promote a GM product, and through the beginning of this site have probably sold more GA's than some dealers LOL! :D Well maybe not that many, but a few. And they have certainly fueled the enthusiasm that we all have by keeping themselves.

I truly have felt that Shawn and Kelly deserve a "perk" for running the great site that they do. I do have inside sources at GM that were able to do this for Shawn and Kelly. They're the same sources that donated the spoilers to the Albany picnic. Want a giveaway? Come to Albany and enter the raffle! Shawn got his spoiler that way!! :)

And not to sound rude, but before you ask NO I can't get you a hood, spoiler, 02 sensor or even a cupholder :D

Actually ... no :lol: ... to be honest, the car was dirty with finger prints all over it since I just got back from the painter ... HAHAHA ... the car as actually still running just stopped long enough to snap a picture before putting her back in the garage :lol:

I saw the photo without the spoiler and was thinking the same thing. Although I think it looks better without the spoiler on a 2 door than a 4.
