My 2000 GT as of late.

I recently pulled the front end off and discovered that the damage on the front end was in the drivers side as seen in the photos. I took these pics while I was bringing the car back from the shop so I could pull the wheels off and put them on my new stratus. Yes I now own a 2002 stratus with only 11k miles on the odometer and am gonna sell the GT. Here is some pics of the resulting damage.

All I have to say is if you own a 99+ GT be very glad that you have a nice looking car such as that I loved my GT besides these big issues and they are very nice cars. I am just in a situation where I can't afford much Im making 6.50 and hour and working 35 hours a week and that isn't much and im trying to afford more than I can handle at only 17 years old.

Please get another GA. It breaks my heart to see a former GA owner having to drive a Stratus.

If I get a practicly brand new stratus with only 11k miles on it for almost free I am not gonna pass up the chance. The only grand am I want is a GT 99 or up and they are out of my price range.

those rims look good on the stratus and i like that color..when i got in my accident last summer i drove a stratus as my rental..that same car basically and it wasn't too bad..the tranny kinda sucked, but other than that it took all the beating i could give it :D ..

i have a question though, if this is rude just don't answer i understand, but if you don't have the money for a different GA, how do you get these aftermarker wheels for your car?

I bought those when I had the old car and magically they fit on all 3 the stratus has a bolt pattern of 5x100 that and they are on a credit card lol.

yeah, the stratus is looking good. now that it has rims. but still. save your $$ and pick up a grand am! its making me sad just looking at the ga pics and then seeing it's replacement; however, if you absolutely have to keep the stratus, it does look like its in good condition, so keep up the good work.

well what I would like to do is keep the stratus and all and wait a few years save up some money. And maybe buy me a 2004 SCT sometime down the road or when I have more money and a better job buy a G6. But I ain't spending much on this stratus. Maybe a few thousand at the most.

I may start modding out the stratus a little bit here and there. I may add a cold air intake and all. I don't expect it to ever be fast but give it a little more go then it has now.
