How are the 99-02 GT's ???

I now own a 97 GT with a LD9 and 5spd tranny I am thinking of getting a newer model GT but i wonder how they preform. I really am attracted to Grand AM's and want a new one so I guess my question is can somebody tell me more about one I know I cold look up the spec's but I want a real testimony from a GT fanatic Like myself and also if I will be able to put the turbo kit from my 97 GT on the newer model if you have any info on this matter plz post IM CURIOUS :-)

I myself bought a 2000 GT1 with a salvage a couple months back and I loved it the performance was awesome the way it drove was awesome and I was just a fun car to drive. And I still say that about the GT. It corners really well and it seems as if the power is endless almost I can be running 70 hit the gas and it will still throw me back into the seat. My only problem was the car was put back together poor and I now will cost more to repair it. I only make 6,50 and hour working 35 hour days so my chances of affording one with out a salvage is very slim but Going from a 3400 GT to a 2.4 4 door sedan is very tough because its so much quicker. Just how i feel.
