A while back i had a '93 ga with the sohc quad in it. Started sputtering a little bit on me so i figured id try some FI Cleaner. Well, about 15 miles after i put the cleaner in it really started to sputter out really bad, couldnt go over say 30 or so. Well i didnt know anything about these quads at the time so i took it too the dealership and turns out it was the Coil housing and a coil was bad. They charged me $300 to replace those, what a dam rippoff. Now a few years later with a '91 dohc quad and some knowledge of the motors, i put some cleaner in her cause she was sputtering a little. Well, put it in and dam, made a big difference, id say i was getting at least another 10-15hp. So i driver her a little longer, say, 15 Miles and my oil pressure drops too 0 and top end starts clickin. So im like hell. I pulled out the oil pump and its seized up and the teeth on the gear are broke off half way around. What is it with this FI cleaner and ****ing everything else up but the Fuel system? I just thought it was soo odd that 15 miles in both cars and something goes wrong. It would be funny if other people have had the same problems as i have. I will never use fuel injector cleaner again, even though i know it didnt cause the problems, but now im just plain paranoid.
