Muncie shifter

I have a 93 GT with a 5 speed. Does anybody sell a shorty shifter or a rebuild kit? My factory shifter if pretty loose and sloopy. I have priced a bushing kit with G.M. and their price is nuts!!! (over $100 CAN.) If no one sells one, is there any way I can tighten it up on my own???

Since nobody posted, I'll answer myself! LOL. After searching a bit, I found out that I have a Getrag tranny and not a muncie. DUH!!! And with a little more searching, I found a bushing rebuild kit and short shifter from Rodney Dickman's Fiero Accessories that will fit our cars. Good prices too.

I haven't heard of the Fiero shifter working in the GA's. It maybe possible however mantapart.com has a short throw and RKSports has them for the jbody's which "may" fit in your GA. Muncie makes Getrag tranny's btw. If you want an honest opinion, short throws aren't really worth the money unless you know someone selling it for cheap. They are pretty over priced(for any car).
