I'm Steven and I just purchased a 1996 Grand Am GT. I'm new to the smaller Pontiacs so please bear with me with some of the questions I will pose.
I have been involved with cars,mainly Pontiacs and some Olds for quite a number of years. EFI and computer cars are new territory for me but I can set-up old distributors and adjust carburators(what the heck are THOSE things???)
I got this little Grand Am to tinker around with and let my son drive a bit. Well it looks like I will have to find him something else to drive. I really love driving this GA! I was lucky,this one was taken very good care of.
I have been lurking around here for a couple of weeks testing the waters. I have read some of the issues with these cars and will address them as time goes on.
This seems to be a very nice website. Lots of good information and knowledgable members.
I hope to be able to get the answers I need to keep my Grand Am looking and running great!
