Hello,
I just joined this group because I just bought a new (new to me that is) 2001 Grand Am GT1.
I like the cars looks and the powerful V6. I found one that was fully loaded, sunroof, leather, 75th Anniversary edition, with all the trimmings, stereo, etc. The best part is that it is in great condition with 38,000 miles on it.
The only complaint so far is that I get a strange hum coming from the speakers or dash somewhere after I have the key in the Accessory position.. Weird that it goes away after I open the door, but if I want to listen to the stereo at low volume it is annoying and I can't really listen with the door open because you hear the chime sound that tells you you've left your key in the ignition and if you turn it to accessory and then to off, the radio goes off when you open the door. I am planning on posting this in the right spot too. Just didn't have much to say, so I thought I'd say that.
