i just cleared my taillights thanks to the help i got from this site, but i can't seem to find any red lightbulbs. i checked some auto stores with no success. if you have any info please help.

You can get the LED's in the same bulb style(3157 I belive,wedge base connection) from AutoZone or Advanced Auto,or any type of place that sells automotive stuff.You can get "bulb condoms" they actually don't hurt the brightness of the light,atleast the ones I put in my turn signals in my tails(not cleared) and they seemed to be brighter.

HAHAHA. good luck finding an actual red bulb. i looked and searched the internet and local parts stores over 10 fold and never found an actual red bulb. i could find the red painted ones all day long, but they only last about a month (tops) before they turn a nice shade of pink. take from me and my experience......go spend the money on LEDs. that's what i did after about 6 months and $200 of looking.

i got some off the internet for $40 with shipping.
