Location of o2 sensor

2002 GA w/2.2L ecotech engine I have a persistant service engine soon light and the code is for the O2 sensor. I have located the second sensor (after the cat) but cannot locate the "upstream" (before cat) sensor. Can anyone tell me exactly where the little bastard is hidden and also is it worth the extra bucks to replace it with an OEM part as opposed to a universal one? Thanks for any info.

...Okay never mind I have located it, to much sun in my eyes here in San Diego.

Im sure someone else will eventually have the same problem finding it so why not answer the question?

the upstream sensor is located in the exhaust manifold I forget if it's near the left side or the right side.
