if you just put the bulb in and didn't mess with those starhead things that aim the lights, then it should be the same as it was before, providing the fixture is in right.

bullshat... silverstars are aimed much different despite the stock fixture positioning...

take your car to the dealer.

Uhh, not mine, I replaced mine with s-stars and didn't have to mess with the aiming at all, it made absolutely no difference...still perfectly aimed. I could be wrong but i don't see how replacing a bulb alone can affect the aim. And if it did there is no way i would take my car to a dealer to get it aimed, when i have eyes and tools, never failed me on any of my other cars. That's just me though.

If you take the headlight assembly out and put it back in correctly you will never need to adjust them. Unless you buy shitty ricer bulbs that don't follow SAE standards.

The Silverstar bulbs DEFINITELY follow SAE standards.

Just make sure all three (yes, 3, three, tres, trois, drei) guides go back into their sockets when you put the headlight assembly back in.

word, but if ya buy silverstars, its not worth the differnece ONLY MY OPINION! think there a waste of money..

but anyways, everyone is right, if ya done mess w/ the adjusters, then it should be perfect... why would it not? screw them all and retro in some projectors!

yeah I bought silverstars and mine aim a little high.. and I was regretting buying them... They look the same as stock but brighter.. I was expecting a more white light possibly blueish a little...

ok well the first set i bought were AFI approved (Street Legal) and was told they would be blue as they were called "coolblue" but ended up being bright white I didnt have to aim them at all. but i thought they looked the same as before and cost 41.00 so i took them out and returned them.went to Lordco and bought some xenon opti blue headlights for only 24.00 and these show white but also look very blue(not AFI approved not street legal which i could give a shit about..but i dont)they look deadly on my white car. i didnt have to aim these ones either..the only thing that pissed me off was i broke the plastic retainer that holds the light in thought aww itll only be like 3.00 ...20.00 later!!

simply put......just install the bulbs and don't worry about alignment:D Can't see how they would be out of alignment by just installing new bulbs as long as you don't touch the star adjuster screws.

I agree but guys they're called TORQS head screws. Sorry, that's been buggin me for some reason (Star) Anyways, as long as you don't touch the Torqs head screws it'll be in the same alignment as before you started.

I have the Silver stars...At first I was impressed, then not...It was just a different "color"...It was possibly an optical illusion to me that I could actually see wider and farther,as imo, they do neither.
Maybe on paper, but "irl" it's not noticeable to me...
I did though have to realign the aim.
Yes,it all went back together correctly! Maybe it was off from the start? Anyhow,I paid for them,so they'll stay 'till they blow.

Just install the SS and forget it. No need to get them realigned.

when i put the silverstars in emily's car i had to realign the lights. well i didn't for about a week, but when i almost got in a fight with some dude because he was acting like an ass (something about the lights shining in his rearview mirror and blinding him......:roll2: :P ) i decided i'd go ahead and align them.

im with magyver, i've got projectors in my truck and they're are 10 times better than a bulb......i really want HIDs though :D

I have to agree about the sliverstars. I got some coolblues for free from work. The dude return them he said he thought they were going to be blue. i put them in the malibu and they look just as good as the sliverstarrs in my GA. I also thinking about putting plain old h3 lights back it my second set of fogs. The coolblue clones look nice but it does not shine like they use to on the dark roads.

I noticed a difference with the SilverStars. The stocks lights were more yellow in comparison to the s-starts. I drove around for about 4 months with stock fog bulbs and s-start headlights. You could see the white/yellow contrast. I just put in a set of s-start fogs and it's all good. I like them alot.

And I never had to re-aim anything.

I went from cool blues to Silver Stars' & notice no difference at all. Well except for the 50 some $ missing from my wallet. What a waste.:(
