Splitting seam . rust on C-Pillar?

My C pillar (between rear door and rear window) at the top near the top edge of the window is Splitting and rusting! also some splits and rust on the seam jsut above the rear door weather stripping.
Anyone have this? Or a crack in the paint there?
its occuring on my 03 se1 4 door....
GM looked at it last week, will get back to me this week if they will cover it under rust warratne.
They said its the seam where the roof and the rear 1/4 pannel meet....

Yeah i have a 99 black Gt 2 dr and my paint is chipping there.... let me know what they say

They repaired both sides under warrantee.

Both sides were seperating, and they blamed bad welds.

I had about 60,000 miles on the car, but I was still within the 100,000 mile body warrantee. They tried to give me a little crap a bout my XM antena, as well as a front-end accident, but I also had the "power" of fleet purchase (over 500/year from GM) behind me.
