I've fallen upon a little cash, and found a buddy in a junkyard who found himself the new generation Grand Prix GTP engine...think the engine is like a 98....3.8 supercharged obviously. The question: Has anyone ever dropped this engine into a 96-98 Grand Am? or for that matter, even a 99-04 Grand Am? (afterall, u can fit a 3.4 HO into a 96-98 with nearly Zero problems, but its only like, maybe a 15hp increase on paper. with a 38 GTP engine, its like, 155hp to 235ish hp.
Is it possible? Will it fit? and if so, has it ever been accomplished?
