I was just wondering every thing in my car lights up red at night time like it is supposed to. But the only thing that I can not see is my climate control area. The rear defrost light kicks on when I turn it on. My question is, is that are there any lights that are supposed to be in this area or am I just wishing. It seems to me that I either blew a bulb or a fuse if there is any. I havent looked at it at all. I figured that I would ask beforeI went through the process of looking fo rthe problem. Please give me some input.

I had the exact same problem, the light for the rear defrost would come on but the dials for the HVAC wouldn't. The bulb/s are burnt out. Basically you have to remove the stereo plastic trim, pull the HVAC unit out (release it by the clips on the sides). There are 2 bulbs in the back that will twist out and just replace them...

Contact Jibo, he made a how-to on fixing this. It's easy enough to do yourself but his has pics to make it easier to understand. It will take you like 10 min and like $3 to fix.

Yeah I figured it was easy but I just wanted to make sure that there was bulbs there before I went looking. I will just wait until I replace my stereo than do it all at once.
