I need the part number for a 97 Grand am with a 5 speed shifter assembly. I need the part number for the shifter assembly. Also could someone help me find the number for a 95-97 or 98-99 Jbody shifter assembly.

also does anyone have a picture of there 5speed shifter assembly in there 95-99 GA?

Thank you, but are you sure the jbody is right, i know from 95-97 theres one type of shifter and then from 98-99 theres another. And these are both manual 5speed assemblies

My parts computer says they are the same

ok, there probably interchangeable, but i know for a fact that they are made alittle differently
