...has anybody out there tried the monroe brake pads? its definitly time for me to change 'em and i was looking at the monroe's..i know that pad choice is different for everyone but which ones would you NOT use?

hey there... well as for those pads.. from what i see you can only get em at canadian tire.. and well no offence to the store even though i buy alot from them... i personally wouldnt go with them.. I found raybestos to be really good for a good price... personally for the price they sell those things i think its a waste of time... its like adding some platinum plugs and thinking you have 50 more hp... dont work like that...

...well i went ahead and installed them this weekend. we'll see how long they last...somebody's got to be the first:roll2:

well also the thing is the pads that are being questioned... are brand new on the market... and i assume they are in the US but here in canada they are exclusive to Canadian tire.. and well for there price asking... ive got a really decent pad for half the price... but i hear ya... skimping usually can get ya some junk.. but when the monroe pads are 59$ on sale (this week actually) and i had some Raybestos.. on my beretta and they were great... and i got em for 14$ since i got em at cost... so i think they are about 25$ I just found these ones to be priced too high
