I have a 1988 Grand Am with the 2.3L quad four. I am going to be testing the manifold vacuum (at idle) because I suspect that I have a vacuum leak that I have not been able to locate. I know that, generally, if the draw is between 15-22 Hg on the gauge that I probably do not have a vacuum leak. I tried to find a more specific number in the service manual, but cannot locate any specs for the vacuum readings. Does anyone know more specifically what the reading should be, presuming there are no vacuum leaks? Thanks for your help.....
