Hey, does anyone know the firing order of the coil packs and the engine?

I think the engine is:

back of engine
135
246
front of engine

Have no idea on the coil packs...

Thanks!

Your diagram is correct, as to CYLINDER arrangement.

The coil packs lay out thus:

5 & 2 / 3 & 6 / 4 & 1

And, that's the way the plug wires should exit the coil pack and go to the respective plugs. That is NOT the firing order, however.

The old-fashioned 'firing order' mattered immensely for old distributors but doesn't really matter for modern distributorless ignitions, since the 'firing' is completely within the PCM and thee ignition module (the base under the coil packs).

The above is for the 3.1.

In my reading of my Haynes this past weekend, I recall that the 3.1 and 3.4 are identically-named for there cylinder arrangement, but I can't swear their coil packs are identically arranged.

Good luck.
