CV Joint

just wondering i think my front left CV joint is going because when i turn the wheels sharp to the left or right i keep hearing this "POP" noise like when im turning into a parking spot at the shopping centre or have the wheels turned to back out..
anyone know if this is something i should get fixed right away or do i still have time?

also anyone know what the part sells for?

and is it hard to do yourself?

Apparently you should have it taken care of ASAP. It can ruin the joint or something and that's more expensive if it gets that bad. I recently had to have mine done, I think it was around $200 and I had my mechanic do it. I guess it's not hard but I get the impression its messy.
