where is the transmission fluid port at on the engine???
If it does not have one WHY NOT!

... I assume you mean the 'dip stick' for checking the fluid level ... if so, there isn't one :( ... the reason is unknown but the best guess of the majority has been that since GM feels the transmission doesn't need service for 'a certain number of KMs' then why would you need to check the level ... in my opnion, the guy who thought of that should have his a$$ kicked :wink4: :lol:

There is a plug in the side of the trans that you can take out to check it while it's running and the fluid is hot ( car level ) . Like the way you check it on a manual gearbox . But if your trans doesn't leak , GM thinks there's no need to check it . There's a red fill cap under the area near the mass air sensor . I think they just want you to make the dealer rich when you have to take it in for service . :D

That baffled me when I bought the car. I couldn't believe you couldn't check it. Fortunately they changed the fluid for me at their expense (as part of the purchase agreement)!
