I was searching the Pontiac website when I cam across this. In an instant I found myself wishing GM would make this a production vehicle.

Why? Is that because of torque steer? I am fairly certain that would be fixed. But then again we are talking about GM (sorry not to happy with the GA leaving the GM lineup). :( Either way this car would make any GA-SE or GT owner green with envy. :D
wonder what kinda 1/4 mi. times you could get outta this bad boy. My guess would be in the 13's, that would rock!!! You could mess with vettes.

Oh dude you have the RSM Supercharger!?
I have been wanting to talk with someone who has done that! :D
Did you do the work yourself? Or did RSM do it?
Are you happy with the product and its performance? Any complaints? Any special mods or other things to consider before purchasing?
Any help would be apreciated, since I was considering this as a future upgrade.;)

Sorry took so long for me to post on this thread, I had to go in the bathroom and wipe the drool off of my mouth.
That is the most beautiful GA I have ever seen. I hate GM for making cars like this to be concept only. Kinda like in 2001 (I think) when they had that concept GA already equipped with a supercharger and other goodies.

I have no idea where you got that info. But GM had no such plans. It wasn't even an idea.

1998 was the first year they did that.

The average market buyer for a Grand Am is a 42 year old single woman. For the price of that car everyone would say "Oh I can buy a Vette, or I can buy this or that" The car wouldn't sell.

Adam not to question your authority in this matter but, I personally doubt that car would cost as much as a nearly $44,000 Vette. Especially when taking under consideration the cost of the Neon SRT-4 starts at $20,995 MSRP and the SE starts at $14,035 MSRP (a difference of $6,960). Other examples of this could include the Saturn Red Line, Chevy Colbalt SS, Mote Carlo SS, or Impala SS. Basically what I am trying to say is that these are cars that are blown out like that GA but only have a price increase of around $5000 to $7000 dollars. Taking that under consideration shouldn't that GA really only be about $27,000-$29,000 MSRP (maybe a bit more but not much)? If that were true this would be GM's perfect answer to the Mitsubishi Lancer Evo (MSRP: $29,999) and The Subaru Impreza WRX sti (MSRP: $32,295). Please understand I am not attempting to step on anyone's toes, I'm just expressing my opinion.;)
Hell even a Grand Am SS would ROCK!!;) :)

Well, the designers were on the ball for tire choice....looks like a WELL BALANCED CAR. And torque steer can be dampened by usingf equal length half shafts.
