Does anyone know what a stock 04 Grand Am will get in the quarter mile? Also, what is the fastest 1/4 time from a grand am?

While the Grand Am is a sporty looking vehicle it's not a muscle car . That said i wouldn't expect too much . :)

Thanks, I just want something into the low 15's like my last car with out big mods. I'm probably only gonna do exhaust, intake, plugs and wires for now.

yeah i think low 15's with a few mods are very obtainable. I forgot how it was but someone on here was saying how they just have an exhaust and the got into the 15's so with what ur planning i think you have a real good shot

a little advice, skip the plugs and wires, you'd get the same hp increase by farting out the window.

Ya I know, but it does make the car run better. Not faster, just better.

if its a new car I wouldn't worry about it for a while. the way i look at it is, if its not broke, don't fix it. if you feel its about time for scheduled maintenance, then i guess do, just my opinion. I've got almost 80k on my 3.4 and still on the factory wires and plugs.

the wires and plugs are good for 100,000 miles arent they???? if so that a long time for the guy to wait to put in performance plugs and wires

that might of been me :???:

most Ga's run 15.5-15.8 exhaust would put then into the 15.2-15.4 range

Like I said before, you'd get about the same hp pulling down your draws and farting out the window as you would from changing your plugs and wires on a i/h/e car.

Your pulling a 15.1 with only exhaust. For real? Are there any stock mods between the se and the gt? Hp wise.

Yes the ONLY MOD i have is SLP cat-back

the only thing that is diffrent from the Se and the GT is the BS RAMAIR the GT has and diffrent Gearing

I should be pulling high 14's with just intake and DHP
