My girlfriend has a red 2001 Alero. Her car is the stock red color but it did not come with a spoiler. She really likes the stock spoiler that came on that year alero. I was jsut wondering how much people think it would cost if i found one to put it on her car. also would it look real crappy without painting everything. if i found one in the stock red color do you think it would be off by much. thanks for the help

i paid 100 dollars for a stock grand am spoiler for my 95 se. perfect paint match and all. guess i just got lucky. look around all the 'junk'-yards around you.

oh yea, the spoiler just bolted on in like 10 minutes. just need a drill.

Um.... 95GAinFLA. Did you make sure it was sealed so water wouldn't leak into your trunk?

Open a thread in the stuff wanted section. There may an Alero owner who replaced their stock spoiler. If you can find one in your color, it's a bonus. You can also try eBay.

haha, actually...no.

the spoiler fit sooo damn tight, it doesnt leak one drop. i checked after a small rainstorm we had and no water, so i didnt bother. after 5 hurricanes there still isnt any water..

Check eBay....

I bought a Trans Am hatch to replace my Firebird hatch (its now an uplevel TA spoiler) off of eBay in black for 290 dollars, which is a 1/5 of what it costs factory from GM unpainted.

after the trunk was broken into on our 92 gase, we found a trunk with spoiler at a scrap yard, they even painted it for us for 225.

ya its recommended to seal with some thing and u just have to find one thats the same colour just phone around to all the junkyards. the only way the colour would be different is if the spoiler is faded some how

I got new SCT wing for my GA for about $224 painted and shipped to my door. I am sure they carry painted ones for Alero. The quailty is good.
