Well 99grandamse should recognize me from the Blazer owners club. I'm over here now too since picking up my latest ride. A 1990 GA Le. Sure it's a little older. But I consider it seasoned. Been a long time Pontiac Driver starting from my first 75 Grand Prix in 88. Latest was my 1992 Grand Am that was hit from behind in 2001. I still miss that car. Beautiful.
The new ride needs tlc. Mostly wear and tear. Head liner, brakes, shocks and fix/replace a banged up driver door (or at least the hinges) and a few missing trim pieces on the driver side. But the 4banger and 5speed stick really moves. Oh and the radio is shot but I saved the radio out of my old '92 so I'll just pop that in.
So now I have to grudgedly give the wife the 98 blazer since she couldn't drive a stick to save her life. But the big job for the car will be when I get my taxes back is getting the a/c converted/fixed. I'm dreading that job. I'm going to see if I can do most of the work myself. But out tomorrow to pick-a-part and autozone to get my first round of repair goodies.
