Hey everyone-
Sorry to post-whore, but at the verge of buying A GT, I feel obligated to know what trim it is...
I know the basics, SE 4, SE 6, and GT 6, but I don't know anything about the individual trim bases for the car, such as SE1/SE2, likewise for the GT.
If someone could post the differences and equipment of these car models (especially the GT trims), it'd be a great help.
I checked search, but I wasn't exactly sure what to word the search as...

hmm...
SE is like base with crank windows.
SE1 gets power windows.
SE2 gets standard V6 (There was no SE2 for 02 model.)
GT gets standard Ram Air V6(pfft)
GT1 gets power seat and steering wheel radio controls.
It might be different for each model year, but something like this.

There are alot of features the GT has that the SE doesn't. It would be best to go to the Pontiac web site and look at the specs there. The 04s are close to the 2000s for the same options. Except for a few things.
Just a few examples the GTs have.
4 wheel disc brakes
ram air V6
Leather wrap steering wheel and shifter.
Preformance suspension
The GT1 has
steering wheel controls for the radio
Sunroof with sunshade
6 way power seat
Oh ... I also have the original booklet for the 2000 GA somewhere around here. I can find it then list off the packages for you if you want? Just let me know, and i can get back to you later this afternoon. Might be best through email though but either way it's ok with me.

Pontiac website is now updated. For 2005, Pontiac is only selling GA GT coupe and GA GT1 coupe. SE and 4 door GT are now gone. These so popular cars will be missed.

Yeah, do me a favor and get back to me, as I did go and check Pontiac (believe me) but they think by only selling GT's and GT1's for the final year, they will make more money...
You know, it really bugs me a lot. They put sooo much effort into the GTO History page, but put crap worth into the Firebird one, and I'm sure they won't spend too much on the Grand Am.
I wish I could find a manual online that shows me what EACH year standard options were for each trim level...
