The pics are a little dark, but from what I can see it looks great. I'll bet it sounds nice too.

very nice, hope those tips hold up for you, they are not stainless. I almost bought them :) But at 35$/tip for aluminumized tips, its a bit high :) Looks good though, They could have been tucked under there another 1" or so, but its your car! Would like to hear it. I have to re-record my exhaust sounds.

The purpose of them sticking out, thats just something I wanted to show Im not into the "import" style mufflers/tips and wanted it to stand out, plus I think if they were flush,it wouldn't show them off, with chrome you have to show them off:D FlowMasters are sweet, noticible rumble and no high pitch sound at all....

As for the piping, from cat to muffler is 2 1/4.The muffler inlet is 2 1/2 and the outlets are 2 1/2 and tips are also the same. This is deffly the last setup, hopefully til I get another car, love the sound and the look!

What series did you get? Is it loud inside when you cruise on the highway?

Got the 80 series Nick and the sound level on the inside is somewhat noticible but pretty quiet unless you have the windows down then you can hear it,but I got a 4cyl,on a v6 it might be a little louder.

I like how its just one muffler. Does it fit well up under the car, or does it hang down at all?

Looks good. It sticks out a little bit to much for my taste.

It fits, but they guy that installed it had to stare at it a bit(underneath the car) to see how he was going to do it but he endend up facing the outlets towards the front of the car so the bends to the tips werent't so sharp and were more smoother and the inlet is towards the rear.

As for the tips sticking out, well its something that people like or dislike, they are growing on me and seperates me from the fart cannon imports that surround this area.

ya, they stck out too faw in my opinion. i had a 40 series on my 2.4 and i hated it. sounded like shit but maybe the 80 series sounds different. Now on my 3.1 im doin the same thing you are. goin with 2.5" pipe with a flow 80 series. cant wait to get it done

Parts: 80 series muffler= 72 bucks from Jegs(you kind find them other places)

Hooker European style dual tips, 32.99 a piece.

After the installation it came to like 107 or so. Im pretty sure they mandrel bent everyhting because I stood there for the 45min and watched them and there are no kinks in the piping.

I might have the tips moved back just a smudge, ive already knicked my leg on them walking behind the car:lol:
