About a week and a half ago i sold my 89 ga and got a 97 ga and it has the 2.4 tc and i was just wondering if all the 2.4's are the same like between the cavy and ga, cuz i have found a good bit of stuff for the ga but there is some stuff i can't seem to find like a header or exhaust. Now i know the exhaust is prolly not the same but what about the header? Also is there any other body kits besides andys and highrev's? i like the combat kit but i was hoping for more options. I have a '96 same style and engine. As far as I know the J-body headers won't fit our 2.4 L's unless you do fabrication. They are the same engine but there is something differen't. I forgot what they said was the problem was but you can look around in the forums and I'm sure you will find something about it.

The problem about the header for the 96-99 jbody fitting the 96-98 GA is that the header hits on the firewall, making it not fit. Other then that everything for a jbody 2.4 should fit a nbody 2.4

But there is a difference in motors the 96-99 2.4's are different from the 99+ 2.4's. Some of the things are the 96-99 have an EGR were the newer ones dont, the knock sensor is different between the years, and theres low impadence injectors and high impadence injectors (cant remember what year has what)

But in any event, if you guy things for a 97 jbody or nbody you should be good. The only thing that doesnt work is the jbody lower motor mount. you HAVE to buy one for a nbody. I also dont think a CAI would work from a jbody on a nbody.
