Well now that I own this beautifull GT, I will have more time now to work on my project car and wanted to share what I have done so far with the club.

If you were wondering, this is my 96 Dodge Avenger. I purchased it in Germany when I was stationed there (US Army). This project started a little over 3 years ago and I'm still working on it (slowly).
The motor is fully rebuilt only leaving the block/head shell stock, and the cams/cam gears. I lowered the compression from 9.5 (stock) to 8.8 for higher boost levels. The block was built by Harts machine shop in Merritt Island. Its fitted w/ JE pistons .020 over, Eagle H beam connecting rods, clevite bearings and hastings rings. The block was also decked since the stock motors had a small defect on the #1 cylinder area (it was curved). The head was P/P'ed, 7ang VJ, mopar performance lifters, springs, valves. The Turbo kit was custom made and privately designed in Arizona. The header you see there is a 321 grade SS hand welded. The turbo is a T3/T04 50 Trim (T3 exhaust housing is a stage 3 garrett .48 a/r, 2.5" turbine wheel, the compressor is a bored garret T4 50 Trim). The kit is intercooled by a 450hp capacity greddy FMIC, and regulated by an HKS standard wastegate. The fuel set up includes a walbro 255lph/HP pump, vortech S-FMU, ford motorsport 30lb injectors and Apex-i S-AFC.
The car is currently in the garage due to tranny issues w/ the 3rd gear (grinds on shift under boost).
The current set up is set at 6psi (stock wastegate spring). The estimates when Im completely done w/ the mechanics of this car would be anywhere around the 350 to 380whp level at 16psi. Which at that point I will start the costmetics refurbisment of the car.
I will keep you all updated time to time when I get more work done to her... But for now, I want to do some bolt on add ons to the GT to get her to do 6 second 60mph's... ;)
