pics from a db drag yesterday

ok, i competed yesterday in street B class and only hit 140 on the new termlab mic, thats a 6db drop from the audio control mic

but anyways here are some pics of the big boys who were there

team dedicated audio with two RE MT 18's and two orion 2500D amps on them, also notice how large the port is

and a pic of the audio plus van, he had 4 RE MT 18's, i didn't get to look at his amps, also it's not a really good pic cuz it's taken through 2 inch lexan

anyways, is that the driver's seat leaning back into the port? if so, that's a decent size port. what kind of numbers were they pushing?

yeah, the opening behind the seat is the port

the van with two 18's is pushed 160db, he claims he's hit louder but he was saving for the 2x comp the next day

the van with 4 18's hit 165db with out even trying hard, he's currently ranked 3rd in the country and he's made some mods to the system since his last big competition, he going for 1st in nashville next week

the MT is above the XXX though, but the XXX is meant to be used in everyday cars where the MT is for competition only

more than likely my next setup will have an 18 XXX in it, but that'll be a while, i also like how all of there stuff is really low priced
