Ok You know thoes things on new cars that tell u how much gas, how many miles left to go and how many miles the the gallon you are getting? Is there anyway or anyone that has seen one on a GA I want one of these soo bad.

I don't think there is a way to do it without going real deep into the PCM, I know Grand Prix's have it I think it's only on the GT and GTP though, you could get one from them and see how ti works

You'd need to adapt the computer to be able to calculate instantaneous gas mileage, overall gas mileage, have it read the odometer reading, and be able to accurately know how much gas is in the tank.

Sounds nice but I don't think it's doable . . . but I could be wrong.

Back in the 70's, I had a Zemco (sp?) Driving Computer in my Opel Rallye. It had a fuel sensor and a speed sensor (magnets on the drive shaft).

I used it in a couple of cars and finally killed it by using my timing light while it was on. I don't think that it would work on todays cars because you have to cut into the fuel line for the flow sensor. Also in the old days, with a carborator, gas didn't return to the tank.
