Was browsing ebay and came across a couple of these. I am curious to know what other people think of these. Are they cheaply made? Seems like a really good price almost too good.

The seller has a good rating, but someone needs to tell him or her that torque is measured in foot-pounds, not pounds.:roll2:

Does the actual CAI itself seem like a good deal though?

There are better systems out there. This one willl probably require trimming to fit. I bought a system off ebay that while requiring trimming, also replaced the whole intake from throttle body out. To avoid trimming, I used a 3" Spiralflex tube, which another board member recommended. I also replaced the Blitz type filter (which was a cheap p.o.s.) with a Ractive Mushroom type fiter, which works quite well. If I were to do the whole thing over, I would buck up for a Doctor Speed or at least one of the more pricy eBay systems, which wouldn't require trimming and would come with a better filter. You get what you pay fro. mopowr79

Search for a honda short ram air intake. N-body and this site have directions to fab a cai. That is what I run and it has worked fine for over 2 years. I thin k the year is low 90's (model).

There are a lot out there. Something like this. Everything is including. You might need a different coupler. The filters are okay, but you can upgrade that easily.
Hope this helps. With shipping, I would not spend more than 30-40 US dollars
