I am planning on buying Dynamat in 2000 grandam trunk...how much do you think i need for the sound to be solid?

If you plan on having absolutely no rattles at all, one hell of a lot.... Our cars are very, very hard to deaden, there always seems to be something rattling around. IMHO, there's no use for it. As long as you're not going around and thumping your system as loud as possible, you're not going to rattle that bad. Yes, there will be some, but I'm more than satisfied with my music at a medium level and I'm only getting minimal rattles and still getting good bass in the inside for me to hear... I could care less what everyone outside hears.

dynamat will increase your bass on the inside too by not wasting the bass on the rattles. it'll reflect it back in the car

get some b-quiet...much cheaper

my whole car is lined with that stuff....whole floor u name it
