Well its been quite some time, as my life has moved from my grand am to my fiero, now i spend most of the time on fiero.nl
hello to everyone again.
I have a question on the new g6, and thought this is the perfect place to ask, as i know how great everyone is around here.

The 3.5 liter 60 degree v6? is the bellhousing bolt pattern the same as the 3.4/3.1/2.8(read fiero)

this supercharged engine, and 6spd transmission seem like great 2.8 swapout champions if they are compatible. any info would be great.

P.S. I may be getting a 96 2dr red gt for free so i may be stopping around a little bit more.

take care everyone.

Good Luck with the new project....
Still think you should have got a Toyota....hehehaha.

I did get a new girl, her name is kelly, shes a redhead. I put a 4spd in her this summer, and rebuilt the 2.8, but now im looking at swapping in a 305 tpi with some bolt on mods to reach 300hp. As for the transmission, maybee the 6spd would suck, but i think i could start in 2nd or third and still have a few gears to play with unless i was at the track, then i may need first. Does anyone know any specs on this transmission like gear ratios?

I seriously doubt it. IIRC the 2.8 and 3.1 (my engine) have the same bolt pattern and are the same except for the stroke. The 3100 (Grand Am engine), 3.4 (DOHC engine found in Z34 Luminas, Cutlasses, and maybe some other type of car I don't know about), 3400 (Grand Am engine), and the 3.5 liter all have different bolt patterns.

Actually the 3.4 will bolt right up to the fiero trannies they are the same, and the v8 adaptor plate will be the same as well, I dont see why gm would change the bolt pattern, but then again its gm, why do they do anything they do.
