Red CD Deck

Since the gauges in my grand am are all red, i was looking for a deck that would help with the red colored theme. Anyone know of a decent (not 2 cheap, not 2 spendy) CD deck that illuminates red? Thanks for any replies

How much are you looking to spend? My deck changes 700+ colours and can match almost any interior! It's the Clarion DXZ835MP. It has alot of features as well so I would have a look.

kenwood has amber displays that match pretty well

The Sony Xplod line has red displays. They are very close, if not identical in color.

My friend has one in his that is pure red...looks exactly like it (Even during day) but I cant remember what brand it is..

Alpine... Depends on what year you get, but the CDA-7894 has amber, and it's almost an EXACT match to our dashes... The newer alpines that just came out also have a contrast control where you can make it any color you want... I would stay away from any sony head units, caues they suck... Never had any experience with Clarion... I hear their lower end players blow, but their upper level ones are awesome.

ya pretty much all companies make em.. just matters on the budget... but i know jvc.. makes a cheap one with a bunch of colors to it...

I got a JVC KDLH300. Pretty good unit, The red on the buttons matches exactly, and you can cutom make any colors on the screen. I have mine set so it looks exaclty like a factory radio as far as colors go, and during the day, it's blue. Very kick ass lookin for 180 to 220 depending where ya look.

my JVC matches my amber colored gauges perfectly now, but im switching over to red glow gauges soon so ill need to find one with red also.

i would say just go down to best buy or somthing and pick one off the wall they always have a million displayed

alpines normally have green/amber switches, the 9833 and 9835 have the capability of changing between 512 colors

With this reciever you can create a bunch of colors by adjusting. Just a suggestion. BTW, i have this in my 99 GASE and it matches the interior lights perfectly!
