Okay I'm wondering the size of the exhaust piping. I did a search and didn't get a straight answer. I've also asked people and have been told atleast 4 differant answers from 1.5 to 2.5. Please someone help me out here to finalize it.

2 1/4" is the right size. If you do some math, you will see the total area and size is increased quite significantly.

2.25.... no questions asked, compression or mandrel bent works fine... CRUSHED BENT is bad, dont get that...
and if you havent picked out a muffler yet, i recommend magnaflow, i love mine, everyone who gets in my car while im driving the speed limit at normal rpm says "i thought you had exhaust done?" then i floor it and its got a nice tone behind it... sounds really nice revving it up and going thru the power curve... feels nice too...

oh, maybe we didnt understand you. Are you asking what the stock piping size is?
I think everyone though you were asking what size to upgrade too.

2 inch is the stock size and it is crush bent. Very restrictive.

I actually grabbed the tape measure from work today and went under and measured and I came out with 2 inches like you guys said. I already had to modify my muffler order cause I ordered a center/center rather then a offset/center 2.5 so rather then change it AGAIN I think I'll just get the 2.5 and use one of them converter pieces. Then when I have the cash I'm going to get the entire thing to 2.5. :D

How restrictive is our cat? I'm running a Pacesetter header/downpipe to the stock cat, then to a Borla 2.25 catback.
I know it's bottlenecking at the cat, but is it making that significant of a difference where it should be changed?

Yes and no. Catalytic converters CAN be restrictive, but since your car is in not forced induction, the flow would not be all that much better with a high flow cat. If you have high miles on your car, you might as well replace it with a high flow b/c the converter becomes ineffective after XXXXX miles. Until then, I say leave it as it is. :)
