if i make a set up like in my lovely pic wouldnt that be better then any type of wai or cai being that its a strait shot from the opening to the intake?

would have to figure how to make an airbox that fits between ram air opening and motor

Check out the Firebird airbox. It feeds about this same way.

well the way i see it and some one please correct me if im wrong the ram air set up is getting cold air. and it has to be less restrictive then the aem intake because instead of the air going into the fender into the intake around the battery along side of the motor making a right and going into the motor wouldnt it be better to go into the grill through the filter and strait back to the motor. i know there alot of people are anti ram air but please correct me if im wrong when i say
(less bends = less restriction)+ more air+colder air=more power?
