soem cars dont need the resistor, i was hoping we are that lucky... anyone put led signals in and did you need the resistor?

I bought JamStrait 3157 bulbs for all of my tails, and the turn signals flash fast, but I like it....I guess it's your choice....

You'll need a load resistor.I had a link to this one site that sold them,it was a little kit that you wired in,it just clips onto the turn wire of the socket that the bulb goes into.....I'll look for it:)

I have some lights from superbrightled.com on a 2001, and i had to get the resistor.man do those suckers get hot quick. im running 8 of them.

thanks, i have seen the resistors... but i know some vehicles dont need them... i was hopign this was one of them, thanks for the response.

ok, i have been doing some searching and aparently there is a variable load flash you can get for some vehicles that does not flahs faster with a smaller load, anyone know where this can be purchased?? ijust dont like he idea of splicing wires n stuff.

http://www.superbrightleds.com they have a load resistor that you don't need to splice any wires,you basically put the wire in it and close a tab which will dig into the wire,not cut it,but dig into it and you are done.

yeah something about having several extremely hot resistors together that just doesn't make me happy... :P thtas why i want the variable load flasher.
