I'm ordering the decal set's I'm looking at for my car from GrafxWerks (http://www.grafxwerks.com) let me know what you think about each.
-Center Cap Arrowhead Overlays (Reflective Black)
GAGT4-06
-Wheel Spoke Groove Inlays (Reflective Black)
GAGT4-09
-"Pontiac" Front License Filler Plate (Reflective Black)
GAGT4-10
-GT "Grill Mesh" Bumper Indentation (Metallic Silver)
GAGT4-16
-"Pontiac" Handle Overlays (black door handle decal with hole for silver of car paint to stick through saying Pontiac)
GAGT4-21
-"Grand Am GT" Door Sill Decals (Black)
GAGT4-26
-"Grand Am GT" Third Brake Light Overlay (Metallic SilveR)
GAGT4-42
-"Grand Am GT" Windshield Banner (Metallic Silver)
GAGT4-74
-Grand Am GT Value Package (includes rear Pontiac filler decal, Grand Am GT decals, and front arrowhead overlay, and Ram Air V6 Decals in reflective black)
GAGT4-P4
What does everyone think of this. I'm trying not to go "tacky" with the decals on my car, but I want it to look special and unique, as there are a lot of silver Grand Am's where I live...but I don't want to go overboard.
I was kinda confused on some of their color options, so if you see any better options or schemes as far as you are concerned, please let me know. The total is 199.00, no shipping and a "discount" to be emailed (what is it, btw?).
Should I take anything off/add anything on/exchange anything?
ANY input is highly valued by me...I'm kinda going for a silver/black scheme.

That's gonna make A LOT of "Grand Am GT" all around your car. Personally I prefer more subtle looks...
Too many makes me think you're trying to convince someone it's really a GA ;)
If there so many of them as you say I think people will know what model it is without having it jumping at them :)

How so, though?
I mean, I'm only buying black overlays for the already black Grand Am GT moldings on my car...the only addition to the word Grand Am is on the third brake light...would it look better saying PONTIAC instead?
And no one will see the door sills unless the open the door...the Grand Am GT windshield banner (which I dont really like on any car but the grand Am) is already on my car from a previous owner, but its yellow...blech.

Kind of in a bind as to what would look the best...
Really, comments would be great.

I do like it, but I'm afraid I'm overdoing it...I don't think I am too much, considering the decals are black, but.
I have a silver Grand Am, and the words Grand Am are silver...this would change them to black.
Do you think black (reflects white) decals look good on a silver car? I plan on getting a silver interior kit in the future, and I think silver and black look decently sophisticated on the exterior....
I think I decided to change the third brake light overlay to Pontiac in place of Grand Am GT, he was right: there is too many words Grand Am GT on the car as it is, noticable or not. I still like the door sill idea, cuz its subtle and no one see's it until they open the door, but.
But will the badges be hard to read with black decals on?
Sorry, I'm paranoid. I had a HORRID transaction with the company I bought my Firebird decals from, and I vowed to stay away from decals ever again, but alas, here I am.

The badges on it currently are stock as they get. Silver Grand Am wording with a black GT wording.
No other decals on it, except some tacky Grand Am banner someone put on in yellow on my windshield.

I am not a big fan of vynal/decals. I had windshiled eyebrows, but I took them off because I thought they made the car look cheap. I like GA's without any side badging. I shaved all of my side ones. But I would leave the one on the trunklid though. I have factory red Grand AM GT badges on my trunk and they look really good.

Generally, I agree with you, but for some reason I think Grand Am's look nice with windshield banners...so long as they aren't too tacky...

Paint some interior parts silver.. I did.. and I really like it, but don't over do it. Black and silver looks good as a color scheme.. Mines purple and silver.. I have a rear windshield thing at the top.. can't think of what ya call them... My third light days deejay on it.. I'd get somethin for your third light custom and not pontiac or grand am..

First of all get them from customgrandam.com (I like the guy over there).... I'd get the dart overlay, the front and rear inlays, and the GT stripe molding inlays. Pick a color that stands out and compliments the color of your car. That's my suggestion. As for the third brake overlay... well that is all a matter of preference.

I got $15.00 off my total order by ordering from GraxWerks.com...I was pretty pumped.
I didn't get everything I listed on there, but I'll let you know what I got when they come in.

i personally wouldnt order any of it, the quality of the vinyl is not very good, i just took off one of my inlays from them and it came off in pieces, and was a real pain in the ass, so i would say get someone to make you what you want out of better quality vinyls.

Ryan is the BEST when it comes to customer service. If you had/have a problem with his products, let him know!! The guy is awesome!
Everything on your list looks fine. Except I don't care for
-Wheel Spoke Groove Inlays (Reflective Black)
GAGT4-09
But that's a personal opinion.

100 to 1 says you're gonna get them, put them on, and in like 2 months yer gonna shave most of the badges off completely anyways.

I have to agree, Ryan is the best when it comes to customer service. I've ordered all of my vynil from him and haven't had one complaint to this day.
And I agree with T3rry, I spent $80 on vynil only to shave all the badges off 3 months later.
I love the shaved look, not to mention the car is now easier to wash and wax. If you're really wanting to get overlays for the badges then go ahead, I don't see why black wouldn't look good on a silver car. I would not get the door handle decals, that would be a little bit too much. And I wouldn't get the wheel spoke decals either, those chrome wheels look awesome as they are. Everything else sounds good to me, but like I've said before, I like the saved look a lot better.

I've got a Graystone (dark) silver 2004 and used black inlays on the V6 badges, bumpers etc. It's so subtle that I think I'm the only one that notices these changes were even done.
If we do it again, I'll try a blue or something that has a little more contrast.

lmao that's exactly what i did what a waste of fkn money:mad:.i kept my arrow head overlay and my rear bumper inlay..ended up wasting about 45 bucks.plus the badge overlays are kind of a pain in the ass to get on straight without any chrome showing from behind.
