How many people own 4 door GA? 2 door GA?
I'm not really a big fan for 2 door GA or any 2 door vehicles.

Unless it's a Ferrari or a Corvette or something like that. :)

2 door only. I will never own a 4 door for myself. The wife drives the Town & Country I guess you could call that a 5 door. :)

4 door, I don't think the 04 se's came with 2. Anyway it's a hassle for anyone to get in the back in a 2 door, plus my insurance is cheaper with a 4 door. (family vs. sports car) Kinda gay that a 2 door car has higher insurance than the same car with 4.

I have a 2 door...I agree with a lot of the people here it looks much more sportier. I see some Grand Am's like mine with the 4 door and I think blech...just doesn't look good in my opinion.

Mine was a 2 door. My cavalier is also a 2 door. I like 2 door cars much better than I like 4 doors. I doubt I will ever drive a 4 door unless I have no other choice.

2 Door. I wouldn't have baught a 4 door one. They look alittle awkward. I don't like 4 doors unless it's an SUV or something.

No, there no added length. the rear quater panels are shorter and the front set of doors arent as long as the coupes doors, and for some reason i want to say the front fender is alittle shorter, but that doesnt make sense.

I noticed that too. :) My GA is a 2 door, but my last car was a 4 door. I'd say there are pluses & minuses to both.

Well I have a 4 door and I used to regret not getting a 2 door, but now I like 4 doors more. Expecially when I see new Lancers, SRT-4, Grand Prix. 4 door seems to be the new trend now. Plus it's cheaper on insurance, and more economical. Good thing Pontiac made 2 door and 4 door look the same. If you see cars like Honda Accord, 2 door version and 4 door one look different. I guss GM is going that route now with new G6.

Agreed! Besides, the 4 door GA looks just as sporty as the 2 door. That isn't true for all cars and models, but I think it's true of the newer generation GA. I've had both and I don't think I'd give up my 4 door. Besides, I have a 2 door Porsche with a stick and a 4 door Grand Am with an automatic... so I have the best of both worlds. :)

4 door here.
I think the 4 door Grand Am looks just as good as a 2 door. If i would have boughten any other car but the GA i would have had a 2 door. Also i love the fact that no one has to crawl over my seats and stuff to get in the back. And as others have stated ... It's cheaper on Insurance.

4 door for the people carrying and i dunno i think the 2 door GA looks kinda chunky i guess...4 door seems to carry out the lines a lot more...although i LOVE 2 door black GT's...I like 4 door mainly because since the GA has nice smooth lines, having the other doors helps to carry out and finish those lines to the rear more nicely. Plus its more fun when ur doin a chinese fire drill :-P

The only two door car I have is my '99 Pontiac Firebird.
I will buy coupes only for sports cars. Unless you don't have a huge social life or reason for a backseat, I would only buy a four door in a "family" car.
I must say, however, that depending on the year of the Grand Am, others look better. I would only buy a 92-98 Grand Am in a two door if I had a choice, but as for a 99-05, I see no reason to get a two-door.
I think the two-door looks just as good as the four-door, but the four-door is more practical. It's a smaller midsized car, but it's still a "family" car and I enjoy having people get out of their own doors, and its easier to haul things in.
There's pluses and minuses to each, obviously, but for the newer Grand Am's, I don't think it's that important, they look sporty no matter what you do, else I wouldn't have bought it.

^^I'm with you buddy, both are nice. I would have to give a nod to the two doors though. Not sure why...

Thanks for agreeing Staind :).
I do agree with you that two-doors on most cars do look better, but in terms of practicality, unless it's got a V8 or is a sportscar, I see no reason for it to have 2 doors, for me at least.

I've personally had both in the 99+ body style. I like my 2 door better. But not so much for looks. More so that it's easier to not be the guy to drive on a road trip when others have a 4 door. :)

4 door all the way for now baby, much more room, easier to maneuver in and out of , carries things better, easier access to the fold down rear area, just tons of better things, plus i think that the 4 door rk or sc/t kit's look way better, JMO. thanks.

Good point about the "not being the driver" for road trips and such.
I don't mind driving sometimes, but I usually get labeled the ride ***** in terms of travelling, so the Firebird with only four seats helps.

2 door. Looks better. A sporty car with 4 doors is an oxymoron. Plus, 4 doors would be totally inconvenient when you rarely use the back seat for people. I don't want to have to open another door to get stuff out from the back seat. I do not like those little compact 2 door cars with doors that don't go further back than the front seat though.
