I want to get new plugs and wires for my 2.4. I was going to go with the NGK V-Power Plugs. Now this might sound stupid, but can i use wires from a different company?
Does anyone object the V-Powers?
What wires are suggested?
Thanks

I see no problem getting some from autozone. They are about $20

^Yes. Al spark plugs are dimensionally the same, the difference is the metals used for conductivness and other manufactuer secrets.

Dont waste your time. Keep your stock acdelco plugs, or if there in bad shape get new acdelco plugs. You might want the rksport boot inserts, that might be a better option.

Really no need to. I only did it because I broke some of the rubber off one of mine

replacing the boots is something ya can do, but shouldnt have to. boots should last a good while. but at $20, that not bad idea if ya can.
ac delco Platinum plugs are the only way to go!!!!
Unless youre running boost or n2o :)

With boost I would go with the NGK Iridium IV or the NGK Laser cut plugs. The laser cut plugs are expensive though... like 10-11 bucks a pop... atleast they are around my area.

I went with the Bosch Platinum plus 4's and the bosch boots, runs great. Wouldn't go with anything else

every one i knew told me not to go with the Bosch Plat4's. they say these cars only run good of the AC Delcos. and i havent had a prob with the ACDel's

you're lucky if the +4s work for you. they dont seem to work well for anyone else

I put them in about 6 months ago and still no problems. I drive about 60 miles a day to and from school.

i ran +4's for a little and they sucked! they fouled out and caused some massive missfires. ac delco's are the way to go definately
