Sounded pretty good. Can't wait to get mine back on the road. Had mine up over 200kph......no wonder the 16 year old rod bearings went out.

BTW, what turbo are you running?

the turbo im useing is the stock one i just had it rebuilt compleatly .

and the rod barrings in the motor were supposed to be new so i guess i found out they werent or the were porley done.

when i had the motor rebuilt i told him im gonna be beating it up so do what you have to to make it last longer than normal .

so i did hat i said i would and it wouldent hold up 2 it lol

I wonder if it really is the turbo maxing out. That thing should be able to push you all the way to 6k easy. Of course you may have a worn out wastegate actuator.

Guess you'll know more when it comes back from the shop and you get to run it again.

well im thinking it has to be the turbo maxing out i payed 989 to rebuild the turbo and replace the waste gate actuator so what else can it bee

Would a vacume leak in the vacume line cause it to open early or act up? cause i found a vacume line that waz orr hooked up to the cruse control.?

Yeah, a disconnected vacuum line could cause problems. Do a thurough check of all lines to make sure they are connected and properly routed. Also, a leak in the hot pipe or intercooler piping (if you have an i/c) can cause problems.

no ic on my car i want one just dont know where to start with that and do the size of the vacume lines have an impact on the proformance of the system? the ones on my car go from rubber hose (small) to hard plastic hose (smaller than rubber)

if ur engine is stock and you havent increased the boost their is no way you stock turbo is maxing out, unless ur waste gate is not working proprly, or you have a intake leak, causing ur turbo to spin abnormaly fast. i dont think the stock engine can push enough exshast to max out that turbo,

the motor is not stock $2400 rebuild not 100% sure what waz done anymore cause of all the trouble im haveing imdoubting if anything waz done at all so wen i get it back im haveing it dyno tested and checked on to see if anything waz done to the motor.
